reds triumph Lynne Morgan

What a win for Reds - should sell squillions of extra papers. MD emailing me at 7.27am to subtly reinforce the point.

But....

Reds win and we go beserk on coverage. After all they have beaten the mighty Barcelona, perhaps the world's best side, on their own doorstep. Can't put enough in the paper, can you? Don't forget though, the Blues fans. And the people who don't like football (there are some).

Nothing is more likely to stop a Blue buying the paper than the knowledge that it's jam-packed with Reds adulation. Vice versa applies.

And if you don't care for footy then the thought of today's paper may be somewhat less than compelling.

Balance is all.

Lynne asked Morgan what she wanted to be when she grows up?

'A burglar,' she replied instantly.

By the time I got home she had changed her mind. She wants to be a beautiful princess again.

One day, hopefully, she'll settle for something in between.

(Lynne got her up on Monday morning. 7am. Washed her, dressed her in a freshly washed and pressed school uniform. Coat on, in the back of the car.

Then she realised. It was half term.)

Loved Morgan's reply when asked what she wants to be when she grows up! Kids are great! A colleague of mine recently asked her son the same question, his reply was....'A dinosaur'!!

Something between a burglar and a princess? How about an estate agent? She'll certainly have the money ...
