July 10 2007 drink/Brand

Made it through to target without having a drink. Very proud of myself. Pleased that I had the necessary discipline. Blood tests today should show whether I need to be more disciplined on a long-term basis.
Had two small drinks last night at Sapporo Tatpnaki where Lynne and I had dinner with friends.Enjoyed them greatly but avoided temptation to binge - in fact didn't really want any more. Hope this continues.
Sapporo still a fun place though I've been loads of times. Chefs put on a great show and the sushi is fantastic.
Back at Summer Pops on Sunday night to see Russell Brand. Blue as you like and slightly squirm-inducing as we had Harry with us.
We more embarrassed than he, of course. Should have known what to expect. Still - he's a worldly sort of lad and probably hears far worse in the schoolyard.
Brand is an inspired live performer - a bundle of charisma and energy sparking off in many directions all at once.
Pops venue excellent. Organisation good too.
Get along before it's over - the Pops needs and deserves our support because Liverpool needs The Pops.
Is 14 too young to see Russell Brand? would you take your 14-year-old? Let me know....
