July 31 2007 Challenge

Feeling lethargic. Have really struggled with my exercise regime since completing Liverpool half marathon. Lost direction and impetus and a bit of will.

Had three good weeks, dieting steadfastly and running again, but lost the thread on trip to New York and Montreal. Took running gear but it never came out the suitcase.

Think I need a new challenge, though two heart attacks and the need to stay fit and healthy for the sake of my family should be challenge enough, I know.

Any ideas anyone?

Two weeks holiday coming up - Disneyland Paris followed by Lake District. Rain a real worry.

Need to hit the ground running on my return with a major lose-a-stone-and-a-half-and-get-fitness-back campaign.

Lynne and I at specialist MS clinic at Walton this Friday. Hopefully start of something good.

Think of the way it could really make you feel energetically, it could add five years to your life, just take is steady, dont try to do too much at once and accept that you will have bad days
