Dec 21 2007 New York Harry
Heading for New York on January 1. Taking Harry who has been a rock in a difficult year with his mum's illness.
He has uncomplainingly helped out whenever asked (although he did have an unseemly altercation with his mum yesterday over taking a Christmas card to a neighbour's home - I stayed out of it).
So - we fly out on New Year's Day. Have tickets to see a couple of Braodway Shows but anxious for blogosphere advice on what we absolutely must visit.
Let me know.
Great night at the Echo Carol Concert at the Anglican Cathedral on Wednesday. Compered by our own Joe Riley, more than 800 attended the event.
Awesome building and awesome performance by the choristers and choirmasters.
Also enjoyed the inimitable Pauline Daniels doing 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'. Sing, dance, act straight, act comedy, do stand-up...the woman is a genius.
Morgan's nativity is now my screensaver...replacing Claire Sweeney. Sorry Claire, you'll be back in the New Year, don't give up on me.

For the bext view of New York, forget about the Empire State Building - do Rock at the Top at the Rockefeller Center instead, it's a much better experience and you have the added bonus of actually seeing the Empire State Building. Shorter queues and a better experience overall
