Back to my blog after break. To the thousands who wrote asking where I was, my apologies. Just hung up on work, Lynne's illness etc.
She is battling on. More chemo next month. We keep looking for positives.
Speaking of positives I thought the old Atlantic Tower hotel looked so much better with its enhanced signage when I drove past it last night. It has had its ups and downs, but it remains a landmark building.
I hope it goes from strength to strength amid the plethora of new competeition.
And on the subject of signage what do you think of the 08 banners around the city? Enough? Big enough? Getting tatty?
If you were parachuted in from space would you realise you were in the European Capital of Culture?
